This is my favorite all time movie, I hope that the thoughts in the movie never die out, sometimes I wonder. If you ever want to know what I believe in, this movie sums it up. If you ever want to know what I mean by saying “Live Dangerously Be A Conservative” go rent the movie and see it all.

OMG, your all time fave movie? Wow - you should check out "The Ten Commandments" and "Ben Hur," to name two that are on people's minds today. Or "The Great Escape," "The Sting," "Star Wars," "The Lord of the Rings," etc.

(Mostly) just kidding. As a film, "Fountainhead" makes a good philosophy lecture. IOW, not so good. As a philosophy lecture it can't be beat though. :)

Hey Jack.

You're right of course on all counts. The Movie is just a so so in most regards but I judged it like you said on the philosophical content. I usually judge movies by how much I think about them later on. You know next day, well it's been years and I still get the creeps thinking about that evil architectural newspaper guy. lol. I collect movies. Over 1,100 and I was amazed that I didn't have the Agony and the Ecstasy. The Ring Trilogy has been my favorite since I read the books as a teen. I know Heston didn't play in Fountainhead but Heston's death brought it to mind. I just ordered Agony and Khartoum which I haven't seen thru Netflix.
